Late submission of coursework

University policy is that coursework may be submitted up to one week late but will then be awarded a maximum of D3. The policy allows for module tutors to impose an even stricter rule if they wish; for example, if they intend to go over the work as soon as it has been submitted they may refuse to mark any late submissions. In the case where a stricter procedure than the standard lateness penalty is to be applied, this will be stated clearly on the assignment briefing sheet.
