Assessment 1: The Detailed Project Proposal, worth 1% of the total.
Submission on-line, here. This should hopefully be the final live submission form.
Assessment 2: The Interim Progress Report, worth 6% of the total.
Submission as detailed in the specification with the supplied front sheet. Please print the front sheet double-sided if you can, or use the copy that was given out in the project lecture.
Assessment 3: Three additional progress reports, each worth 1% of the total.
Submission as detailed in the specification.
Assessment 4: The Final Submission, worth 90% of the total.
Please note that for simplicity the cover sheet and the title page have been merged into a single document which is available both as a pdf file and as a MS Word document. It is the required front cover for both copies of the final report.
Also, you certainly don't have to use them, but there are templates
for use with MS Word if you like:
word-2003-4-final-report.doc
word-2007-8-final-report.docx
word-2003-4-final-report-template.dot
word-2007-8-final-report-template.dotx
These templates have last year's front page -- just ignore that.
Assessment 5: The Oral Examination. This will take place on Friday 28th May, the last day of the examinations. Please note that attendance at the oral is compulsary: we expect to interview about half the class. You cannot be excused the oral because you have booked a holiday.
Due dates for all these assessments are to be found in the "Module Information for Students".
