My main research interests center around the study of adaptive intelligent behavior, which I am exploring with embodied artificial autonomous creatures (robots and artificial life simulations). I focus on motivated behavior and social interaction, with particular emphasis on the role(s) that emotional phenomena and their expression play in them.
