The overall aim of the course is to provide an in-depth study of the design and implementation of relational databases. There is a large practical element to the course with the opportunity for you to gain experience of using a shared, multi-user system (Oracle) in the various roles of database designer, database administrator and end user.
This is a level 2, 30-credit course running in Semester A and B.
